For this JEFF & GORDON project, we responded to an invitation to create a piece about "participation in the political process" by staging a series of mock focus groups with Los Angeles artists and arts professionals.
Taking our sponsor organization's rhetoric as a point of departure, we conflated grass roots organizing with market research to elicit unexpected conversations about the ostensibly inclusive fields of progressive politics and contemporary art.
